Dual currency investment
A money market operation with a higher interest rate than that of a standard investment. Its specificity lies in the fact that the choice of currency in which the capital is repaid is tied to an exchange rate.
Vanilla Options
An option is a contract giving its buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy (or to sell) a certain quantity of underlying assets at a specified strike price on or before a specified date, the buyer having to pay a premium.
BARRIER Options
More advantageous operations from a buying standpoint as they are cheaper than Vanilla options. However they include option exercise clauses which have to be complied with.
ARO Options (Average Rate Option or Asian option)
An option whose payoff is determined by the average underlying price over the whole period. If the option is exercised, the holder receives the the difference between the base value and the average value.
