Geneva Economy Quintessence Certificate Tracker

Geneva Economy Quintessence Certificate Tracker

Invest in Geneva's economy.

The Essentials

Innovative access to the fabric of Geneva's booming economy

The Geneva Economy Quintessence Tracker Certificate is part of a medium- to long-term investment strategy in keeping with the BCGE Group's investment philosophy and designed to capitalise on the real economy.
Investments are in shares of leading companies implanted in Geneva's economic fabric, which is both competitive and selective. These filters were used to select Swiss and international companies that are either large or leading companies in their field.

Geneva Economy Quintessence

Switzerland and globally

Geneva, a quintessential international city, is home to multinational companies and high-quality Swiss companies. The Certificate reflects Geneva's international economic fabric.

Actively managed by the BCGE

The securities are selected and monitored by BCGE Asset Management's team of specialists in Geneva.
This investment represents a competitive World Equity type investment profile, reflecting Geneva's economy.

In detail

Universe of eligible securities

  • The Geneva Economy Quintessence Tracker Certificate only contains shares traded on the Swiss stock exchange or on other international stock exchanges. These are listed companies based in the canton of Geneva (headquarters, branches or subsidiaries) which largely represent the major employers in this geographic area and the companies that play a key role in Geneva's economy.
  • The minimum market capitalisation of each company is set at CHF 500 million.

Significant geo-sectoral diversification

  • The proportion of Swiss equities is close to 50%. The Certificate is currently exposed to other currencies.
It is well diversified on an international level.
  • The Certificate is managed with a sectoral allocation that is close to equal weighting to avoid excessive concentration typical of local or regional economies with centres of excellence.

Good liquidity

  • The shares selected are, for the most part, large market capitalisations: the basket at launch represents more than CHF 1'000 billion in valuation. However, the basket contains a limited number of less liquid securities, the weight of which is capped to ensure optimal liquidity overall.
