Account opening is rapid and easy
You can easily set up a BCGE rental guarantee online or by appointment at one of our branches.
If you choose to set up the agreement online, you’ll receive the account number for your rental guarantee and the transfer instructions within 48 hours. Once your account has been credited, you’ll automatically receive your rental guarantee agreement by post or through Netbanking.
In most cases, if you opt to set up the agreement at one of our branches, you’ll be handed the rental agreement on the same day.
The BCGE Garantie loyer account is just what you need
The BCGE Garantie loyer savings account is a blocked deposit, constituted by the tenant(s), private individual(s), business(es), shop(s), etc.
It is intended for lessors and estate agents for property (flat, house or commercial premises) rented in the cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Zurich and Basel.
This product is opened in CHF in the name of the tenant(s). Management of the BCGE Garantie loyer account is free of charge.
A secured guarantee deposit
The amount of the guarantee is blocked throughout the whole term of the lease. When the lease is terminated, the deposit can be released on receipt of a letter from the lessor or estate agent.
